1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all sales and services of the sole proprietorship Benjamin Fischer – Helveticoins, Vorderdorfstrasse 7 3.Stock,, 5524 Niederwil, Switzerland (hereinafter "the Company"). They apply to all contracts concluded via the website helveticoins.ch, by email, telephone or in person. By placing an order, the customer accepts these GTC in their current version.

2. Conclusion of Contract

A purchase contract is concluded as soon as the customer accepts an offer from the Company—whether through online order, email, telephone, or verbally. The contract is also valid if an automatic order confirmation is sent.

3. Prices

All prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF). Prices are subject to change. Prices are exclusive of shipping costs. No VAT is charged for deliveries within Switzerland, as Helveticoins is exempt from VAT (small business regulation).

4. Payment Methods & Terms

The following payment methods are available: TWINT, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), Klarna (invoice & installments), invoice (Switzerland only), PayPal, and bank transfer. Payments are made in Swiss francs (CHF). Shipment takes place only after successful receipt of payment.

5. Reservation and Payment Deadlines

For immediately payable methods (TWINT, credit card, PayPal, Klarna), the order is reserved for up to 24 hours after placement. If no payment is received within this period, the order may be canceled automatically and the goods released again. For bank transfer and invoice (CH only), the customer undertakes to pay the full amount within 5 days from the invoice/order date. If payment is not received by the deadline, the order may be canceled. In case of default, Helveticoins may charge default interest of 5% p.a. as well as dunning fees. Helveticoins reserves the right to exclude certain payment methods or require prepayment—particularly for first-time orders or in case of insufficient creditworthiness (e.g., via Klarna).

6. Condition of the Coins

The products offered are ancient coins, whose condition is described to the best of our knowledge in text and images. Minor variations in color, tone, or surface appearance do not constitute defects.

7. Delivery

Delivery is only possible within Switzerland. Orders from abroad cannot be processed. Shipping costs are displayed separately during the ordering process. Delivery usually takes place within 2–5 business days after payment is received via Swiss Post. Helveticoins is not liable for delays caused by third parties or force majeure (e.g., strikes, natural disasters). Delivery is at the buyer’s risk unless transport insurance has been agreed.

8. Exchange / Return

An exchange or return is possible within 7 days after receipt of the goods—only for unused, unopened items. The buyer bears the return shipping costs and any depreciation. Excluded from exchange or return: specially ordered or reserved items, discounted goods, as well as already opened or damaged packaging.

9. Warranty

The sale of ancient coins is made without warranty. Authenticity is checked and guaranteed to the best of our knowledge—errors excepted. ⚠️ Important notice: If, within the scope of a return, a different or counterfeit coin is sent back instead of the originally delivered coin, Helveticoins reserves the right to report the incident to the competent authorities and to take legal action.

10. Liability

The Company is not liable for damages arising from the use of the sold items or the website. Liability for consequential damages or lost profits is excluded. Liability is limited to the value of the goods.

11. Copyright

All content on this website—in particular texts, images, and designs—is protected by copyright. Any use without the written permission of Helveticoins is prohibited.

12. Data Protection

Personal data is stored exclusively for the purpose of processing the purchase and is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for delivery or payment. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies. Further information can be found in our privacy policy.

13. Price Errors

In the event of obvious technical errors or malfunctions in the price display on the website, Helveticoins reserves the right to withdraw from the purchase or sales offer. In such cases, the customer will be informed immediately. No right to delivery at an obviously incorrect price can be claimed.

14. Retention of Title

The goods remain the property of Helveticoins until payment has been made in full.

15. Place of Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Niederwil, Switzerland.

16. Severability Clause

Should any provision of these GTC be wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
