This Roman coin dates from the reign of Emperor Marcus Aurelius Probus (276–282 AD). On the obverse, the laureate, radiate bust of the emperor is depicted facing right, surrounded by the legend "IMP C M AVR PROBVS P F AVG", which identifies Probus as "Imperator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Probus Pius Felix Augustus." The reverse shows two standing figures – the emperor and a deity (probably Sol or Jupiter) – in a gesture of handing over or greeting. The legend "RESTITVTOR BIS" (Restorer of the Provinces) emphasizes Probus as the restorer and protector of the empire. In the exergue, there is a mint mark indicating the minting location (e.g., XXI for Siscia or other mints). This coin is a typical example of late Roman imperial coinage, illustrating both the political propaganda and the military achievements of Probus.
