This silver coin originates from the reign of Roman Emperor Gallienus (253–268 AD). Gallienus ruled during the Crisis of the Third Century, defending the empire against invasions while introducing important military and administrative reforms. Obverse: Radiate bust of Gallienus facing right, wearing armor and drapery. Inscription with his name and titles. Reverse: Standing figure (deity or emperor), partially worn, with remnants of the legend visible.
